This set of photographs was taken during my first visit to Japan in 2017, focusing on the famous landmark Mount Fuji and its surroundings.
Meanwhile, the second part of the work focuses on the concept of Yugen. It is a traditional Japanese aesthetics meaning the beyond and the sadness of human suffering and a profound sense of beauty in the cosmos.
Through exploring these two subjects, the work explores the relationship between the nature of this beautiful island country and its current cultural characteristics.
